QUALIFIED MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
DISABILITY EVALUATIONS

Dr. Colleen Murphy and Dr. Suzanne Frazier provide comprehensive state and industrial disability evaluations. Call for more information.

Chiropractors are believers in holistic health; meaning, every facet of your well-being is interconnected. A complete medical examination will be performed on your first visit to our chiropractic office.

Once review of your examination is completed, your doctor will recommend a specific care program, which will be custom-tailored to your needs and explained to you in detail. Your unique case may require specific spinal adjustments, use of laser therapy to reduce pain, physical therapy and/or massage therapy to assist in your healing process.

Laser Therapy

LASER THERAPY

WHAT IS LASER THERAPY?

Laser therapy utilizes a Class IV therapeutic laser that safely increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area, actually helping the affected area return to its normal, healthy, relaxed state.

The laser stimulates the immune system, accelerates cellular healing and growth and creates an optimal healing environment. The patient will benefit from this healing environment by a reduction in inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain.

Murphy Frazier Chiropractic & Laser is pleased to announce that we are offering Class IV laser therapy for our patients. If you have been suffering from chronic pain, want to speed your post-op healing process, or if you are looking for an alternative to surgery, then visit San Diego’s FIRST treatment facility with the amazing Class IV laser.

Chiropractic Care

CHIROPRACTIC CARE

GENTLE CHIROPRACTIC CARE

We specialize in gentle, highly effective chiropractic treatment. We give a very thorough spinal examination and locate specific subluxations. We address each subluxation individually rather than simply “cracking” the entire spine.

PHYSICAL THERAPY & MODALITIES
SPINAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM

Through our integrative therapies, we seek to:

  1. Eliminate pain and discomfort

  2. Increase spinal range of motion

  3. Correct posture

  4. Improve flexibility

  5. Strengthen the back, neck and spine

  6. Educate the patient

Your muscular system has an amazing ability to adapt. When the spine is adjusted to its proper position, the muscles need “adjusting” as well. When your spine has been out of alignment, the muscles affected can over- or under-compensate to help you retain normal function.

The doctors at Murphy Frazier Chiropractic & Laser in San Diego believe that physical therapy with various modalities complement treatments to chiropractic care. They help to retrain and relax the muscles, greatly speeding healing time and bringing about lasting wellness.

We utilize a variety of techniques to help bring your body back to its optimal state of health. After adjustments or laser treatment, we may recommend ultrasound treatments, time on the muscle stimulation machine, heat therapy, and/or rapid release muscle therapy. If your doctor feels that additional complementary treatments are necessary, they may recommend a referral to an acupuncturist, medical doctor or another adjunct practitioner.

When you're in pain, getting the right treatment is what's most important. Whether you’re dealing with a simple strain or a chronic disc problem, our chiropractors will locate the cause of your problem and prescribe the best course of treatment unique to your needs.

The goal of chiropractic spinal rehabilitation is to get you back to your normal life as soon as possible.

If your injury is the result of your occupation or sport, we will develop a unique physical therapy program specific to your job or your activity of choice. Through patient education, you will learn how a significant portion of the rehabilitation program carries over to everyday activities.

All spinal rehabilitation will include preventative exercises and a variety of therapies unique to each patient. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at
